Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Univo app, this website, and any agency engagement with Univo Innovations. By creating an account or engaging our services, you agree to them.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Univo platform you confirm you are at least 16 years old and able to enter into these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put other users at risk.
3. Acceptable use of study rooms
Live audio rooms are shared spaces. When you participate you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against other participants.
- Share sexually explicit, violent or otherwise unlawful content.
- Record or redistribute other participants' audio without their consent.
- Impersonate another person, institution or Univo staff member.
- Disrupt rooms with spam, automated tools or attempts to circumvent moderation.
We may remove content, end rooms, or restrict accounts to keep the platform safe. Repeated or severe breaches result in permanent removal.
4. Leaderboards, perks and rewards
Achievements, streaks and leaderboard positions are provided for engagement purposes and hold no monetary value. Perks and rewards may be supplied by third parties, are subject to availability and to the provider's own terms, and may be withdrawn or changed. Any attempt to inflate rankings artificially will void eligibility.
5. Housing hub listings
- Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and availability of their listings.
- Univo is a discovery platform and is not a party to any tenancy agreement between a student and a landlord.
- Discriminatory listings, misleading pricing, and listings for properties the poster does not control are prohibited.
- Students should independently verify a property and its owner before making any payment.
6. Agency and client engagement terms
- Each engagement is governed by a written statement of work covering scope, deliverables, timeline and fees; these terms apply to anything the statement of work does not address.
- Fees, invoicing schedule and payment terms are set out in the statement of work. Late payment may pause active work.
- Change requests outside the agreed scope are quoted and approved separately before work proceeds.
- On full payment, ownership of custom deliverables transfers to the client. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks and internal libraries, licensed to the client for use in the deliverable.
- Third-party licences, subscriptions and hosting costs are the client's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
- Both parties keep confidential information confidential. We may reference the engagement in our portfolio unless the statement of work restricts it.
- Either party may terminate with written notice; the client pays for work completed up to the termination date.
7. Intellectual property
The Univo name, logo, software and platform content are owned by Univo Innovations. You keep ownership of content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to host, display and transmit it so we can operate the service.
8. Service availability and disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions go to hello@univoinnovations.com.
